Three of the four contests Wednesday finished in draws, but the big result of the night was a 2-0 win by Rochester in Carolina that had implications beyond that night as Austin was idle. The three points put the Rhinos within striking range of Austin, allowing Rochester to move into first overall in the league Saturday evening with their 2-1 victory over rival Montreal as the Aztex fell, 2-0, in Puerto Rico. It was only the third defeat of the year for Austin, which has three games in hand on the Rhinos, who now lead by a single point.
