LD Update: Honors; W-League signing; Canada HoF; Claudio Suarez

NASL News: The league named Ciaran O'Brien of the Atlanta Silverbacks the Offensive Player of the Week and honored Minnesota Stars goalkeeper Matt VanOekel the Defensive Player of the Week... The Atlanta Silverbacks are undergoing a front office change with president Michael Oki resigning and that Andy Smith is the club's new General Manager after serving as the interim director of sales.

USL Pro News: The league announced Richmond Kickers goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale, in his final season, as the Player of the Week, highlighting the Team of the Week.

W-League News: The Los Angeles Strikers added the Australian international duo of Amy Chapman and Caitlin Munoz... The New Jersey Wildcats added Canadian national team defender Candace Chapman to the roster... New Jersey Wildcats striker Maya Hayes earned the Player of the Week honor on the league's Team of the Week... North Jersey Valkries forward Nickolette Driesse was called into the current US U18 women's national team camp in California.

USL News: The recently announced four main selections as 2012 inductees into the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame were all former United Soccer Leagues players. Most notable are former W-League greats Andrea Neil and Charmaine Hooper, who was one of the first inducted into the USL Hall of Fame. They are joined by Carlo Corazzin and Mark Watson, who played in the USL First Division (American second division).

NPSL News: Striker Moses Jackson of Junior Lone Star FC was honored as the league's Player of the Week selection.
