The Puerto Rico Islanders reclaimed sole possession of first and the San Antonio Scorpions kept their hot run going, moving up into second in the NASL table as all three home teams posted big wins on the night. Among them was previously unbeaten Minnesota falling hard for its first loss.
In USL Pro, Charleston missed an opportunity to overtake Orlando for first in the table in their Florida showdown. The story, however, remains Open Cup quarterfinalist Dayton as the Dutch Lions are still winless with another draw.

Carolina RailHawks 5:1 Minnesota Stars - Don't look now, but the RailHawks may have found their form, posting a second league win in a row against one of the league's top sides. Five goals from five different players was just too much for unbeaten Minnesota, who got their only goal from Simone Bracalello right before the break after already trailing from Austen King and Nick Zimmerman strikes. Brian Shriver, Zack Schilawski and Jason Garey put the match out of reach in the second half. - MORE
Puerto Rico Islanders 2:0 Tampa Bay Rowdies - The Islanders rebounded from a loss, but needed 80 minutes to find their first goal with defender Jay Needham scoring his third of the season on a David Foley corner. Jarad Van Schaik clinched the win with a breakaway goal in stoppage time. - MORE
San Antonio Scorpions 3:0 Atlanta Silverbacks - The first-year club's unbeaten streak is now at eight games (5-0-3) with a third shutout performance in four games. It was all Pablo Campos on the night. He scored in the 27th minute after driving through the Atlanta defense and then turned provider to Walter Ramirez in the 35th. He notched a second goal in the 83rd, spinning past a defender before sending it in. - MORE

Harrisburg City Islanders 0:2 Wilmington Hammerheads - Recent NY Red Bull loanee Corey Hertzog continues to spark Wilmington. Three minutes after Andriy Budnyy scored the opener, Hertzog notched his third goal in three games in the 34th minute. - MORE
Richmond Kickers 1:0 Charlotte Eagles - Another good effort from Ronnie Pascale, five saves in the shutout, was being countered by an excellent defensive effort from Open Cup darling Charlotte until a dramatic stoppage time tap-in winner from David Bulow on a great play from Ross MacKenzie and Christopher Agorsor. - MORE
Orlando City 2:1 Charleston Battery - It took Jean Alexandre only seven minutes into his two-game loan from the San Jose Earthquakes to find the back of the net for Orlando City. Nicki Paterson answered in the 38th for a tie at halftime. The Lions prevailed though with a second half goal from Jamie Watson to keep second-place Charleston (tied with Rochester) from moving atop the table. - MORE
Dayton Dutch Lions 1:1 Pittsburgh Riverhounds - Two of the league's struggling sides were unable to pull themselves up with a win, finishing in a 1-1 stalemate. They were deadlocked until Mettin Copier opened the scoring for Dayton. Seven minutes later Nikola Katic found Darren Amoo with a low cross to equalize and keep the Open Cup darlings winless in league play. - MORE
