LA Blues 2:2 Harrisburg City Islanders - Maykel Galindo gave the Blues initial hope in keeping their playoff chances alive with a goal 16 minutes in, but LA found themselves hunting for hope by halftime. Bilal Duckett tied it up 10 minutes later and Lucky Mkosana gave the visitors the lead in the 33rd minute. Matt Fondy put things level with six minutes remaining for LA, but the Blues were unable to find a winner. - MORE
Orlando City 1:1 Dayton Dutch Lions - The league leaders refuse to lose as they head toward the postseason, finishing things off with a 14th game without a loss. The last loss was June 2 in Wilmington. Ian Fuller hit the crossbar in the 37th with a diving header in a stalemate that stood until the final five minutes when Kevin Molino, who just returned from playing for T&T, weaved his way through the defense and fired a shot that ended up being an own goal. Dayton, however, spoiled the shutout with less than a minute remaining when Daniel Holowaty blasted a lengthy shot that Miguel Gallardo was unable to keep from crossing the line in a goal call later confirmed correct by video replay. - MORE
Charlotte Eagles - PPD - Wilmington Hammerheads - Weather and field conditions wiped out the match in Charlotte again. The game was previously postponed July 21 due to conditions. The two play Saturday in Wilmington, as previously scheduled.
