LD Update: NASL & USL Pro Game Night; PDL signings

Another draw leaves Atlanta still winless in the NASL. In USL Pro, a stoppage time tally kept Dayton from getting into the win column for the first time. Meanwhile, Orlando City picked up another victory to remain unbeaten as the trend in USL has switched back to what is expected with home clubs going unbeaten for the week.

NORTH AMERICAN SOCCER LEAGUE

Fort Lauderdale Strikers 1:1 Atlanta Silverbacks - In a game littered with yellow cards, including a second to the host's Toni Stahl in the 73rd minute, the game was a deadlock through the first half. Four minutes into the second half, however, Fort Lauderdale got on the board first when Mark Anderson, who nearly earned a penalty when tripped by Silverbacks keeper Daniel Illyes late in the first half, struck the fall in off the underside of the crossbar. In the 69th minute Reinaldo Navia picked up his first goal in five games, tallying his sixth off an assist from Ciaran O'Brien. - MORE

Richmond Kickers 3:1 Wilmington Hammerheads - The visitors nabbed the initial lead 18 minutes in when Yahaya Musa connected with Andriy Budnyy, who slipped a shot past Ronnie Pascale. The lead stood until the 69th minute when David Bulow converted a penalty after Sascha Gorres was fouled. With a draw penciled into the books, Gorres began a play in stoppage time with a long ball that led to a series of headers in the offensive end that finished with Chris Agorsor heading it past Alex Horwath. Two minutes later he would get his second stoppage time tally on a breakaway created by a Ross MacKenzie long ball. - MORE

Charleston Battery 1:0 LA Blues - In the end, it came down to just one free kick in the 14th minute. Jose Cuevas delivered a fantastic ball from 40 yars that found the head of Colin Falvy. - MORE

Dayton Dutch Lions 2:2 Rochester Rhinos - After starting the season with six shutouts, it has not been easy as they finished the last three winless. The club avoided a second straight loss on back-to-back nights with a stoppage time header from Tam McManus on a Danny Earls cross evening things. Eli Gardner gave the hosts the lead in the 34th minute with Graciano Brito providing an answer for the Rhinos in the 52nd minute. Twelve minutes later Mettien Copier gave Dayton the advantage again only to see their hopes of getting a first win dashed by McManus. - MORE

Orlando City 2:1 Charlotte Eagles - Jame Watson and Matt Luzanaris scored their first goals of the season. Waton provided the opener in the 15th mand the lead was doubled in the 53rd. Miguel Garllardo's shutout didnt last with Christian Meza in the 79th. - MORE

PDL News: The Portland Timbers U-23s announced Friday the addition of a pair of midfielders from regional universities Gonzaga and Oregon State.
